  • Understand back anatomy and structures for back injury prevention
  • Self-evaluate own body mechanics and practices and make necessary practice changes
  • Minimize the negative effects of repetitive work and daily activities through proper body mechanics and ergonomics
  • Recognize signs & symptoms of back injury to prevent further injury
  • Increase safety of participants and residents during transfers

Office Ergonomics 

Target audience: Desk workers 

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  • Understand back anatomy and structures
  • Self-evaluate own workplace set-up and practices to make necessary ergonomic changes
  • Recognize signs and symptoms of an MSK injury to prevent further injury
