Mobility Assessments (ADP Assessments)
We complete a full hands-on assessment to determine your mobility equipment needs and complete funding applications such as the Assistive Devices Program (ADP). This includes walker assessments, manual and power wheelchair assessments, and scooter assessments.
Functional Occupational Therapy Assessments
We assess function of the most basic daily tasks such as showering, eating, drinking, and going to the bathroom to the more complex life tasks like shopping and finances. This can include assessment of physical or cognitive / mental function, environmental barriers, and task-analysis to procure equipment and aids and other interventions in order to gain or maintain your independence and your other functional goals.
Home Safety, Accessibility and/ or Fall Prevention Assessments
We provide an environmental assessment with a focus on safety, fall prevention and/or accessibility related to your function/dysfunction due to aging, disability, or illness/ injury. We then provide recommendations for interventions which can include assistive equipment, home or vehicle modifications, referrals, and/or funding applications (as applicable). In-person and virtual assessments available.
Clinical Education & Mentorship
We provide in-person and online educational and/or mentorship sessions to fellow healthcare professionals in occupational therapy topics with a specialization in Mobility and Seating, Specialized/Custom Wheelchair and Seating, Safe Client Handling and Work Injury Prevention, & Fall and Fall Injury Prevention.
